Alpine Ravage — A reimagined A110 heading for production?

Young French specialist Ravage shares news of its modified Alpine A110, inspired by 1970s rally cars. Wearing the colours of a Mirage fighter aircraft, it could soon enter small-series production.

Ravage Automobile is a group of French rally and Alpine enthusiasts. Finding the new A110 a little too restrained, they modified one with inspiration from Group 4 cars, especially the wide-arched racing berlinettes. The result is called Modèle Zéro, and Ravage is now preparing a small production run.

A striking look

Modèle Zéro differs from a standard A110 mainly at the rear. Wider wings cover a revised track, while a matching spoiler and bumper give the coupé an extra touch of aggression.

Aluminium and carbon fibre are used in its construction. Three-piece forged aluminium wheels, a sensible 18 inches in diameter, recall the Gotti wheels of the past. They wear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres, wider at the rear than the originals. Yellow headlamps and front spotlights complete the exterior.

Ravage plans extensive personalisation options.

More performance

Under the skin, the Ravage A110 has adjustable coilovers and a bespoke exhaust. Power has increased, although Ravage does not disclose the gain. It promises a power-to-weight ratio of 3.3 kg/hp, better than the 3.8 kg/hp of the 292 hp A110S, which weighs 1,114 kg unladen.

Commercial details for the Ravage A110 have yet to be announced. The company plans numerous personalisation options, extending to engine output. More information is expected soon.
