We think of Jean-Claude Andruet sending his berlinette flying from corner to corner, and remember the howl of Panizzi&#8217;s Pipo four-cylinder engine. In a word, we are happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.remidargegen.com\/\">R\u00e9mi Dargegen<\/a> captured this outing. Called the Rallye Lyon-Charbonni\u00e8res-Stuttgart\u2013Solitude from 1960 to 1975 and now the Rallye Lyon-Charbonni\u00e8res-Rh\u00f4ne, it was established by the Automobile Club du Rh\u00f4ne, the Moto-Club du Rh\u00f4ne and the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Eaux Min\u00e9rales de Charbonni\u00e8res.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"321\" height=\"489\" data-attachment-id=\"2716\" data-permalink=\"https:\/\/ravageautomobile.com\/fr\/programme-du-premier-rallye-le-charbo\/\" data-orig-file=\"https:\/\/ravageautomobile.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/01_1947.jpg\" data-orig-size=\"321,489\" data-comments-opened=\"0\" data-image-title=\"Programme du premier rallye  le\u201c charbo\u201d\" data-image-description=\"\" data-image-caption=\"&lt;p&gt;Programme du premier rallye  le\u201c charbo\u201d&lt;\/p&gt;\" data-large-file=\"https:\/\/ravageautomobile.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/01_1947.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/ravageautomobile.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/01_1947.jpg?w=321\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2716\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was officially founded in 1947 by Dr Pierre Dalligand, president of the ACR and MCR and winner of the inaugural event in a Bugatti 55, and casino manager Georges Bassinet, president of the SEMC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event became exclusively four-wheeled in 1950. Over the years it featured in the European Rally Championship, from 1967, when it was regarded as the West German rally and won by Vic Elford; the French championship; and the Swiss championship between 2000 and 2003.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It has hosted the French D1 championship again since 1996.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\" Only three of the 22 historic vehicles finish the 449 km event, leading to another relegation to D2.<\/li><li>1996: After eleven years outside the top division following the snow-hit event, Le Charbo returns to D1.<\/li><li>1997: Already the 1996 winner, Gilles Panizzi wins again after a tense duel with Delecour in the other works 306 Maxi. The final stage on the Limonest hillclimb course decides it: just one second separates the Peugeot drivers. Nearly 250,000 spectators line the roads.<\/li><li>2000: Having joined Citro\u00ebn in 1998, Bugalski takes a third consecutive victory, this time in the new four-wheel-drive Xsara T4.<\/li><li>2001: S\u00e9bastien Loeb wins ten of the fifteen stages, despite finishing the rally in a Xsara Kit-Car running on three cylinders.<\/li><li>2012: St\u00e9phane Sarrazin sets ten fastest stage times, but loses ten minutes on the second stage. Dany Snobeck&#8217;s usual consistency brings him his fourth and final victory in the Rh\u00f4ne.<\/li><li>2014: In his Group A7 Clio Williams, Julien Saunier achieves the \u2018impossible\u2019 by
